A Higher Things® Junior Youth Retreat
November 3-4, 2017
Nails. The Lutheran Reformation begins with nails. Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses on the door of the church to start a discussion. But it wasn’t those nails. It was the nails that were used to crucify Jesus. That’s what the Lutheran Reformation is about: Jesus. Jesus who lived, was crucified (nailed to a cross), and rose again! Martin Luther worked to bring that Good News back to the church when it had been clouded up and covered over. We’ll hear the story of Martin Luther and the Reformation and how it’s all tied together by the Good News of Jesus Christ. On the cross. On the church door. Nails!
