Jesus calls us to live in the world, but not to be conformed to the world around us. This is a difficult challenge! There are so many different messages given to us about what kind of life people should live today that it can blow our minds! From how to live in a world that is changing its mind about gender, marriage, and family to how to live in the days of social media being everywhere to trying to figure out what role your Christian faith has when life is so busy with sports, friends, schools, clubs, and family activities, there are unending opinions over what the Christian life should look like. This retreat will focus on what the Bible says about the Christian life and how you as a junior high student live as a Christian today. God has called you to be a Christian and to love the Lord your God and your neighbor. At this retreat, you will get to think about how to live as a Christian in a 21st century world.
